Here at Anderson James, we repair all types of dishwashers – including freestanding and integrated versions.

We have been repairing dishwashers for over 8 years and work on almost all brands, including the likes of; Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Samsung, Beko, Miele, Fisher & Paykel, to name a few!

We know how inconvenient a faulty dishwasher can be, that’s why we offer fast appointments and can usually come out the same or next day. We are a local, so can usually get one of our engineers to pop straight round.

We operate under a very simple and honest fixed fee – you pay the same amount whether it takes us an hour or 3 hours. If you need any spare parts then you just pay for them on top (we don’t even charge to come back out to fit them). We also offer a six month warranty on our work which includes the same fault coming back, and any parts that we have supplied and fitted.

Not draining

This could be a blocked drain pump, blocked piping or a kink in the drain hose.

Not heating up

This is usually caused by a faulty heating element.

Door falls open

The door falling quickly without any resistance is a sign that the door rope and/or the hinges require replacing.

Water leaking from the door

This can be caused by a perished door seal, or blocked spray arms causing water to jet out at angles it’s not designed to, leading to water coming out through the door. Contrary to popular belief, a dishwasher door is not completely sealed in when closed!

Dishes come out cloudy

This is a sign that not enough rinse aid is being used, or ejected by the appliance during the cycle.

Grit-like residue left on dishes

This could be due to the regeneration system failing – usually caused by inadequate salt being used by the appliance.
