AEG Oven Error Codes

If your AEG oven is displaying an error code then it’s a sign that something is wrong with the machine. Error codes are designed to help engineers troubleshoot what is wrong with your appliance, however we’ll tell you exactly what they mean in this guide.

Error CodeDescription
F0 – No Alarm SignalMain control module of your appliance is failing to communicate with the alarm.
F1 – Door Not LockingCheck the door lock and the wiring connections.
F2 – Door Not UnlockingCheck the door lock and the wiring connections. Faulty thermostat reading could be preventing the door from unlocking.
F3 – Self Test ErrorTurn off and unplug the appliance for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error returns further investigation required.
F4 – Temperature Sensor FaultCheck temperature sensor and the wiring connections from the sensor to the control board.
F5 – Control Board ErrorFaulty control board.
F7 – Mains Supply IssueAppliance has detected an issue with the incoming power. Check appliance has been wired in correctly.
F8 – Power Supply to Module IssueMain control board not receiving correct power. Check wiring and connections.
F9 – Processor Auto ResettingTurn off and unplug the appliance for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error returns further investigation required.
